Mountain Mike Skulls

If you scored on a buck you may want to have mounted or have a skull done, give the skull kit from Mountain Mike's a look. With the holidays here, this is an inexpensive and simple way to display your buck. The one on the left is the snow camo skull resting on the included adjustable postioner in the kit, and the right one is the standard skull laying flat on the wall. I tried two fake skulls. Never looked right as the antlers could never be oriented correctly on the skull

There are way better artificial skulls on the market.. the mountain mike skulls IMO are very toy like.. never look good but they are more of a DIY hobbiest special.
If you get into artificial skulls like the pinchback counterfeit brand you will be much more satisfied. You also need to fit the skull to your antlers- not your antlers to the skull. Takes some creative thinking, but can be done very nicely with great results if done right.
I do a few every year. I'm actually doing 3 this week. I'll post pics when done.
