So sorry for your loss, I lost my Dad in October 2022 also.  It looks like your Dad lived his life to the fullest and was a great Dad, doesnt make it any easier though. 

I killed one of my largest bucks this year in a stand location  that my Dad handed down to me, where he showed me where to stand and how the wind should be to hunt it.  I feel his presence in so many places in the woods where we spent so many great days together.

I'm so very grateful for those memories.

Love this.  Glad you were able to enjoy the time with him. We all need to be grateful for the things we have in our lives. 

Sunday makes 11 years since my dad died, and I've really been feeling it lately.  He was only 60 at the time so it's hard knowing how much life he missed out on and how badly he is missed by all.
