ANJRPC and Koons Lawsuit Update

Recommended Posts

Final Thoughts then I'll shut up and let someone else add their two cents

The plaintiff attorney's did a great job and were on point!

It felt like the state was more or less rambling, targeting feelings, avoiding questions, and trying to get the PI stayed right then and there.

Things to remember:

SCOTUS is Watching! The 2nd and 9th Circuit drag their feet not following the doctrine set by Bruen.

It is the burden of the state to show where in the law it meets Text, History, and Tradition.

Krause and Chung are democrat appointees.

Krause didn't get the Range opinion right, went En Banc and was won in our favor.

Chung asked a lot of really good questions.

Porter is a Trump appointee

Today the AG sent a letter to the Third Circuit in light of the Second Circuit's opinion on the recent sensitive place ruling they came out with trying to sway the judges. Hopefully the Plaintiff's will respond in such manner I can post.

We are still waiting for an opinion from our panel of Judges at the Third Circuit. Currently the hold up is to see if an En Banc review is held of Lara v. Commissioner. The panel is waiting to see what happens here before making any moves in our case. Dan Schmutter thinks we should hear something in the next few weeks.

In the mean time this is a letter from the AG's office on the Lara v. Commissioner matter dated 2/5/2024
