No sir. Saw some blue herons at a couple spots. Plenty of turtles. A few deer. And no people.  Or sign of people.  Lol

Ran around bit today covering some ground while had a decent tide this am. Mostly teal and black ducks.

No need to check. Birds will be in the swamp like always. It’s the death march carrying the boats in that sucks…. It’s all worth it when settled in watching the clock for shooting time and the birds are dumping in. The anticipation for the first shots heard to start the morning and get the birds moving…..Opening day is a blast. Getting my gear prepped this weekend.

Which do you folks like to hit in early season? Coastal waters, or inland/south zone?
