HuntStand app crashing for anyone else?

If you do not have the HuntStand app on your phone, ignore this thread.

This started happening yesterday to me. If I go anywhere in the HuntStand app that requires showing the map (the satellite view, the public land view, etc), the app immediately crashes. I can go to things like solunar or weather views, but anything that wants to show the map will cause the app to crash and close.

It is strange it started happening on the first day of the new year - I wonder if the date change/year rollover uncovered a bug in the app. I dunno.

I'm curious if anyone else is seeing that in your phone's HuntStand app.

(I did sent a message to their support group - but I'm sure I won't hear anything until next week)

Yes.  My desktop works but my android version behaves as you describe.   Please post up if you get a fix.

Mine was doing the same thing. I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it, worked fine.

I was thinking reinstall but I have a bunch of offline maps... If I reinstall I'll have to download them again. But if that's the answer so be it. Yes, it's android, and I'm paid up thru June.

I just got this message inside my huntstand app:

Google play has an update... Updating the app now...

UPDATE: that fixed it. They released a bug fix... You need to update the app.

They must have done something on their end.  I never updated , saw that message & it's working again

Mine was crashing yesterday too. Kept trying to check the wind. 

I didn't do anything and it seems to be working now

Go to Google play and get the update
