Pheasant Hunting Black River w/ a GSP

Black River was still packed this morning, but me, Junior & Hoss closed escrow on 3 cock birds and missed a 4th in a thick hedgerow when he flew the wrong way.

We had one other great point on a hen, but the dog was out a bit far and in front of my boy who already had his 2 birds. I tried to hustle over there to get in position for a shot with the hard point, but the bird got nervous and flushed…

Pretty happy with the results for the morning though!!!
