BowhunterNJ Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Hey guys and gals, you know me...I can't resist throwing new features out at you guys! Well hopefully you've noticed the new NJ Woods & Water Giveaways menu and are getting an announcement notification of the new raffles that are available on the top of the main forum page! It should look something like this: Note, you can click the Dismiss Announcement and it will get rid of that notification area for the current raffles, BUT it will reappear when a new raffle is added! This will be an awesome way for me to do some product giveaways and give back to the membership here! The Giveaway look and feel will likely evolve over time as I customize it a bit, but it's a start! Give the latest giveaways a try and have some fun with it! If you have any questions or are having trouble viewing/accessing it, please let me know! Edit: Renamed Raffle to Giveaway as the latter is more applicable to this purpose! thefirstndsecond Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 You know raffles have to have a gambling number if they are for profit. If they are for a not for profit then you need to have the word donation. Welcome toNJ. I know this because I belong to a for profit and this matter comes up twice a year. FPC - "Without either the first or second amendment, we would have no liberty; the first allows us to find out what's happening, the second allows us to do something about it! The second will be taken away first, followed by the first and then the rest of our freedoms." - Andrew Ford
thefirstndsecond Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 May want to look at Glock talk or another forum to see how they do it without issues. BowhunterNJ Posted February 28, 2014 Author Posted February 28, 2014 They are all free entry and of equal chance with no site profit. I will definitely check out glock talk to see what they do though! Thanks for the info! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Haskell_Hunter Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 What does the law say about raffling off hot monkey-love dates? Is that non-profit, for profit, or prostitution? Sapere aude. Audeamus. When you cannot measure, your knowledge is meager and unsatisfactory.
Palawman30 Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 What does the law say about raffling off hot monkey-love dates? Is that non-profit, for profit, or prostitution? Now that depends........................ on how many bananas you give that monkey............ PredaTorch.com Hot Estrous Doe and Other Deer Scent, Night Predator Lights
Matty Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Nobody's giving anybody bananas! Are we clear!? No bananas and no monkey love! Haskell_Hunter 1 “I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target, but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature’s way of fang and claw and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow.” – Fred Bear
