Zone50BugNerd
Had some leftover venison Tennessee sausage from Ely’s, as well as some fresh venison kielbasa I made last season in the feeezer. Good night for a good filling soup. This is both sausages browned, a few leeks, some potatoes, kale and chicken broth. Brown the sausages, remove and deglaze the pot with white wine. Then add the meat back to the pot; add chopped leeks, potatoes, a can of diced tomatoes with green chilies, cover with stock and bring to a boil. Once you get a boil, add the chopped kale, reduce the heat and simmer for an hour. Drink a neat Jim Beam while waiting, then enjoy.
