I've told this to my kids the day they got their first ipods - do not text, post pictures, or say anything to anyone that you wouldn't want mom or dad or our pastor to see. Because once you hit the send button, there is no "delete" key - its gone and on the internet forever. If you try hard enough, I bet you can find that old thread archived somewhere.

In all seriousness this is how I look at it. If you start a thread and you let it go as far as having others respond to it then you should have no ability to delete it. Deleting what someone else said is nothing less than censorship.
