Potts Creek outfitters/ success this morning

Down in VA with Potts Creek outfitters Google them they have a good site. My guide Travis is an incredibly knowledgeable guy who wants to get you a bird bad he can be seen on Appalachia trophy tv. Their land consists of vast amount of VA with multiple food plots (I counted 3) they also have land in WV if you get those tags. This turkey hunt is a little more expensive than most but the lodging is better than other outfitters I have a private room furnished nicely with modern amenities. And lunch and dinners where over at the swinging bridge restaurant that was very good. Second picture is view from my room. Hopefully tomorrow my last day I can punch another tag.

Mine was about 17 pounds with a 10 inch on the dot beard I asked my guide that exact question he said no because they're still easterns and va isnt necessarily that much warmer in the mountains. He said mine was just a little light for beard length/age

 

TL:DR- not sure do not think so though still easterns
