good afternoon squirrel hunting

tagged out for fall bow so took the .22 caliber pellet rifle out for some squirrel. i hunted about 2 hours and got my limit of 5. all butchered up and ready to eat tonight.

just a basic stew. or ill rub bbq sauce on them and grill it. i do have a special way of skinning them though. 

 

i dunk them into a bucket of water. skinning them when they are wet reduces the amount of hair you get on the meat. squirrel hair can be almost impossible to get off. yeah most of it burns off quickly when you cook them, but it definitely looks better lol

Turn them inside out, take off the shirt and pull down the pants, lol maybe should put that somewhere else

yup that's how I do it. still manage to get hair on the meat.
