I was going to protest if my spam comment was deleted. Good to see it found it's way here.

I'm deep frying right now, wish I had some spam to throw in.

Sliced then fried on toast with cream cheese. Diced and thrown into a western omlette. Batter dipped and panko breaded tempura spam fries. Do a matchstick julienne and fry along with onions, garlic, mixed veggies, chinese sausage sesame oil and soy sauce and throw in cold rice to make a fried rice, I can keep going.

Yes I can afford real food but here's some insight on me... when my wife first met me, she said I can cook like a chef but I eat like a hobo because I'll pop a can of pork and beans and eat it right out of the can, it's just how I roll.

I will occasionally eat spam. It's actually pretty good if you cook it right and throw it on some bread. I grew up poor as could be, so spam found its way on to the menu every so often. If your hungry you learn to like it I guess. I can afford real food now but still every so often like a throw back. Lol.

Cold Spam with mustard.

Pan fried Spam with mustard.

Ate it 4-5 times a week.

Anyone remember the old way of removing the can top with a key? Then pull the meat out through the razor sharp edges with your fingers only to scrape that layer of jelly snot off of it! Mmm...:cook: What were my parents thinking??
