I have one 6 foot hickory log that I split  into quarters. Half of the log I am using for axe and hammer handles the other two I saved for bows.    I never made a bow and do not see that I will ever have the time to do.   Free to anyone who would like to give it a try.  Air dried in my garage for at least 10 years. IMG_2618.thumb.jpeg.e642dc77bd0d67f0ee80f16f3e970dd5.jpeg

I spent most of my money on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.
