My first thought when I read your post is that he probably is reflecting the opinions of his constituents (I'm only assuming he's fairly liberal), but the Senate is specifically set up as a deliberative body which is a bit different than the way the House is set up. Senators are supposed to carefully debate issues before a vote. Bad job on his part if he's blowing it all off - regardless of where he stands on the issue at hand. But I doubt we'll see the press make him look bad:thumb_down:
