To add to that, I give every hunter and angler the benefit of the doubt if I see them doing or about to do something in violation of fish and game regs. I’d say 19 of every 20 times, they have no idea that they are in violation, apologize profusely while stopping the illegal behavior and that’s the end of it. But when they tell me to mind my own business (or worse), I simply step away and call Game Thief and give as much information as I can to the dispatcher. Oftentimes, a CO will call shortly after that on his or her way to the site.
