Were the chrome ones ... RPC brand? I helped a neighbor kid with his 440 engine, and his new covers were slightly deformed, too. They look like yours.

Yeah he loves to drive it but not full the tank lol ..

I don’t know the manufacturer of covers as they were a gift from a friend … he has a Duster with 340 and went with ribbed Mopar covers .

Used this , got it from Amazon ain’t cheap and for god sake cover yourself and anything you Don’t want Painted LOL

A mechanic I used prior to moving swore by this stuff. However like you mentioned good luck getting it off. Full tyvek jumpsuit would be the way to go.

Exactly what we used especially when doing parts of the chassis not completely exposed .Also obviously all disposable brushed . And watch your eyes while on your back painting above you
