Does your vehicle have a tire pressure dummy light? If so you may be able to get away with replacing the stem, however you may need to bring it in for repair. the valve is going to be attached to the pressure sensor inside the wheel.

Not trusting the government doesn't make you a conspiracy theorist, it makes you a history buff
