Coyote kill

Recommended Posts

From your experience, what do Coyote's do after a kill?  Was some God awful noise, sounds maybe 150 yds back in the woods for maybe 5 minutes last night. Then for another 5 minutes yipping and barking that I'm sure was a Coyote. I hope it wasn't the only fawn I've seen up here this year, that was born last week. It seems the doe's have their fawns very close to the houses, I'm assuming for their safety.

Typical of a pack that just had a successful hunt.  Doesn't mean it was a fawn although it likely was.  Could be most anything they killed.  I have yet to see a single doe this spring with more than one fawn.  They mostly have twins, so lots are being prayed upon.
