ThatsABingo
NJ website says they are just rumors and there is no plan to close turkey season. "4. Has turkey season been cancelled? NO! Rumors have circulated that many states have cancelled their turkey seasons. At this time, all turkey zones and periods will open as scheduled. Please remember to practice social distancing however if you plan on pursuing turkeys with others. Over-the-counter permits are now on sale online and at license agents. However, please call your nearby license agent to see if they are operating due to concerns over COVID-19." https://www.nj.gov/dep/fgw/news/2020/huntfish_faq.htm JimmyScags
mazzgolf
I think @BHC is posting that link to give anyone who has plans for an out-of-state hunting trip to look up the state they are going to and see if it affects them. I appreciate NJ DFW for posting that FAQ that says clearly that NJ turkey season is not being canceled. Cleared up confusion and doubt, in my mind at least. Now I hope I can actually find time to get out and hunt at the end of the month. JimmyScags and BHC
