Is that the south side of your house?  I have the same thing going on with daffodils planted close to the foundation.  The sun warms the stone walls all day and keeps the soil extra warm in that area.  None of the daffodils on the north side of the house have even budded yet.

Was out this morning edging the flower bed along the front porch.  Figured I'd do it now and have more time to do other stuff later, before it's 90*
