The hunting is still fairly good but the mindset of the hunter with all of the rules and regulation changes has impacted the tradition greatly. The methods used to be where you needed to figure out the deer. It seems like deer hunting became fishing. Throw out the bait and wait for a bite. Its just not as challenging as hunting them in their natural world.
