opening day rain - who's in!?

Well, at least down in the south looks like rain the first two days of the season. I'm hoping it weeds out the weak among us and gives me the woods to myself I'm already adjusting my plans just in case the forecast is correct. Learned my lesson the past couple seasons - when in the rain, head for the edge of a field in a popup blind over a few decoys.

I'm not made out of salt and won't melt. I have taken plenty of birds in the rain, I will be out unless its a steady downpour. If we don't get one tomorrow I will have company as a day of skipping school will be in order for a Youth Bird

That's my plan. Blind is all setup and decoys are ready to go. But to be honest, I took off from work, so if I need a boat to get to my setup, I'll get a boat.
