Wikileaks Founder Julian Assange revealed to Sean Hannity in an interview that aired Tuesday night that Clinton Campaign Chair John Podesta's email password was "password." As such, a 14-year-old could have hacked into the system.

I don't see how this is even possible. It was a gmail account wasn't it? Gmail will not allow you to create such a weak password, at least not these days. So unless he created it a long time ago and was "grandfathered" I can't see how he could have that as his password. 

 

Also, I don't think anyone hacked into his account. He fell for a phishing scam, basic social engineering. They sent him a link to reset his password and like an idiot he entered his password in an attempt to reset it.

He did fall for a social engineering trick.  And even worse, their IT guy said the email was legit (although now he's back-pedaling that his email was a typo).

 

Most "smart" senior managers have no idea how to use technology, and they are the highest risk to any organization.  As such, most senior-level executives don't have access to systems that contain sensitive information with the only exception being their email accounts....for obvious reasons.
