Best height to hang your harness strap?

I always struggle with my harness strap when I have to shoot to the right (I am a right hander). Any tips on making it easier?

Put it a little above head height to not only minimize yr fall but also so you can draw back or even duck under it if necessary.

Definitely as high and snug as possible to minimize the distance you would fall if it were to happen.  Generally I try to get it up WAY high so I can then swing under it to get to the right without it interfering.

This is one reason I stopped wearing one, But I just started a new thread on suggestions on getting one.

high as you can it helps when shooting right side of tree for right handers, so it doesn't contact your elbow when you draw...  (assuming you are wearing a modern harness, where tether attaches just below your neck)  Since I have switched over to a lot of the HSS safety lines, that means putting the loop at just above head level, because I need to slide that knot as high as I can.  This leaves little room at bottom to connect though.
