Schadlers again yesterday

Had limited time so I hit schadlers on the way home. By limited time I mean told the wife I had another call 😆 🤣. After a few casts it just wasn't feeling trouty but I spotted a few bass so I changed gears threw on a smh worm. Got this 1 missed 2 more. Saw a few big ones.

I hit there Monday afternoon from 4:30 - 6:30. Caught and released a limit of trout except for 2 that I gave to a guy that was fishing there.

On Sunday a guy fishing next to me there caught a trout that went a little over 3lbs on the scale.

Nice. That's a big trout.  It was like 80 degrees when I went. Sun high and bright. Limited time so switched into bass mode. Soon I'll restring one of my poles and only bring 1 trout rod as we move into the post spawn. Most lakes I've been seems the bass are spawned or setting up to spawn. Ready for frog season 😆.  My frog lure game is stocked this year

You really need to get up north for some trouting one of these days! I C & R’ed about 3 dozen in four hours this afternoon including 4 at 17-18 inches and LDR’ed another dozen or so, all in an unstocked section of a stocked stream.

I really do want to get up north for some trout one day. Never experienced it yet. Definitely a goal of mine.
