Is out but this year not looking too good. We're only in the middle of February which is about the start of our sugar season and I'm already getting ants in my sap.

Temperatures into the low 60s next week aint gonna help out,  looking like hopefully enough for the year just for the family.

That looks awesome !!! Now that’s some hobby 

talk about ants….  ,off topic but snowmobile club up by me is closed for the season … first time in 25 years it  closed this early … usually snow is there in the hills until May . Have a bad feeling we gonna get a late winter and it’s gonna kill everything , prices will skyrocket even further for groceries…

The world is truly upside down, I have been doing this about 10 years now never seen an aunt till middle of March and in numbers at the end.

Trees are budding already which begins the shut off 

Time will tell I guess

Awesome thing you're doing with bug I've done it with other people in Vermont and New York State don't worry about the ants it has protein

Not a concern at all, however once they start showing it doesn't take long for the trees to shut down

Okay I didn't know that what kind of ants is there a way to kill the ants
