I have a bunch of skulls in my classroom as part of a deer age and antler growth lesson that I do during our wildlife management unit.  Each year the art department takes the skulls for a month or 2 and uses them for a variety of different art projects. 

 

At the NJ State Fair this past summer I saw this painting from one of our students on display, it brought a smile to my face.
