Anyone have to remove them from the limbs of a compound ? If so how did you do it without messing up the finish on the bow ?

The ones on there now melted  a bit and I'm replacing them.  They are on there pretty good from the original install.

Could be tough if you are trying to save the finish.

Update: I emailed Limsavers and they recommend Goo-Off, Goo-Gone  or any citrus based cleaner to remove.

They also asked if my dampners were melting because they had a bad batch of rubber awhile back. I told them that was why I was removing/replacing. They asked for pictures and are sending me free replacements.

Dang I literally just tossed my melted ones lol. That was definitely some bad rubber. I’ve never had their stuff do that.

How did you get them off ?

This happened to me, too on an older Hoyt. I had to cut them off. Limited to no limb damage.

I had two stabilizers that were melted. I have taken them off in the past though. If I remember I just put the new ones over where the finish came off.
