Big Snapping Turtle

Big might be a little understated.  This one might be the biggest one I ever saw.  We happened across it on the way to look for these >

 

 

Of which we could only find one as everything was flooded ............

Nice. We didn't get the rain or the storms that were south and west of here. I've never seen that type of salamander before. I have seen a bigger snapping turtle. 24 lbs to exact.

I don't know, that turtle looks a lot bigger than 24 lbs.  That thing is a slob.  

 

 

Is that a long tailed salamander?  Great picture.
