Hooked A Big One Today

My wife lost one of my bobbers back when we were dating... we were like 19; I took her to a lake... handed her my rod and on her first cast - snag, snap - lost my hook and bobber. She had enough. I don't think she's been out fishing with me since  I'm thinking maybe that wasn't an accident either.

When I was a young lad my pop took me bluefishing off the beach in Sandyhook. Well, first cast I tried I buried a treble hook from a Hopkins deep into my hamstring area. They carried me to the car and off to the er I went.
