Shot again today. 100 yards. Federal Premium 165 grain, Trophy Bonded Tip.  First two were a little low, made scope adjustment. Next two in the blue.  Took a break for 5 minutes then took one shot at the upper blue.   Was sitting in a chair and shooting off a table with some rolled up blankets so not quite as steady as a sandbag type rest, but very good results I would say.

Beautiful gun and nice selection of scope/bases.  I use to reload for my 308 but haven't in years.   I'd recommend giving the Hornady Whitetail ammo  (150 grain interlocks) a try as my Rem 700 loves it, as does my son's Browning lever action 308.  Both of those guns shoot sub 1" groups at 100 yards, and while the Interlock bullets used may not be considered a "premium bullet," they are proven performers with a long history of success.  Good luck with it.
