How many Deer Permits do you pay for?

I gave up buying shotgun and ml permits as I never really hunt with them much and never shot a good buck with them..
Then last season I say there with a recurve in my hand during a permit shotgun day, as a beautiful 8pt got bumped by another hunter and crossed the field 80 yards away. I wished I had my slug gun. So now idk. I might buy next year :/

I hunt 3 zones bow season, usually only 1 shotgun, but I buy for 2 just in case I decided last min to hunt the other zone I want to be prepared.
