Yes that is the article I posted a few days ago when I bumped this topic.  And my point was, the town CANNOT dictate hunting regulations.  NJDFW does, and their division of Law Enforcement enforce the laws, not a local or state PD.  The problem is, what will you have to go through to ensure you're "covered" in the event a PD shows up to push that ordinance on hunting legally, without having to go through the headaches of going to court, etc.  You may want to even get a letter from NJDFW as you'll almost certainly be questioned if a neighbor sees you go in or come out from hunting.  To be honest, NJDFW should be actively pursuing towns that set ordinances that conflict with hunting regulations.

Cherry Hill went through the fiasco of guys hunting there years ago, here are their ordinance details which allow for hunting.  Pretty sure at one point they tried to stop it all, but lost a case where hunters were hunting legally and NJDFW wound up on the hunters sides in court (can't find a link to that case though).
