They say these guys are supposed to be good luck. Luna caterpillar pretty amazing creature, they eat while they are a larva they turn into a huge moth with like a 6 inch wingspan have no mouth to feed and are dead in like 2 days.

When I was a kid vacationing with my parents in Florida, I went to pick up a big, ugly caterpillar. I got hand full off stingers, my hand felt like it was on fire and bad looking. My mother took me to the emergency room. lol

 

I'm not afraid of little critters, but I don't pick up ones like LittleM's ever since. lol
