You have to be convicted of a very serious crime in a general court martial to get a Dishonorable. Lesser stuff gets lesser discharges.

 

We had a couple guys in Germany that screwed up pretty badly .... they just got other than honorable

 

 

 

U guys are missing the point... The point is no Ex military person should lose ANY constitutional rights as a result of being  kicked out of the service for anything that wouldn't have the same consequences had they committed the same offenses as a civilian...

Must have been some changes since when I got out.  A guy i served with tested positive for Coke and got "other than honorable" discharge.  

 

   If you take the time to do the search I posted  there are many types of Discharges  I am talking about DISHONORABLE

Not missing anything the point is Convected Felon civilians are denied to vote Same for Dishonourably discharged since you do not want to take the time to go to the search I Posted just remain in the dark and post away,
