Legal to own this gun in NJ

Perfectly legal, actually saw one at the range just a few days ago and was allowed to handle it briefly. Nice little gun.

To correct some of the posts above:

Stock is non-collapsible; therefore, does not need to be pinned.

Can have up to 15 round mags. Although I have read that Hi-Point mags are somewhat finicky.

SBR rifles have barrels shorter than 16"; anything over 16" and your fine.

Handgun ammo requires NJ FID (or pistol purchase permit) for purchase in NJ stores. No restrictions on mailorder.

There are quite a few gun shops in NJ that have this particular rifle, it is popular due to its price. Stay away from HiPoint handguns though, mostly because they are butt ugly :)

Most places require a copy of your license and FID before they ship ammo to NJ.
