Only places I can think of somewhat locally (to me) would be Cheyenne and Sportsmen's Center…but they're probably closed by now.

Maybe Walmart if you're near one or Dick's Sporting Goods?

i have good trail and an idea of were he is headed .... right towards a wet swamp. the swamp is only a hundred or so yards away from when i backed out. i tracked him 300 yards so he should bed down in there. it was a liver hit so he should bed in the thicket. the rain going to mess me up but i have all day to find him.

I saw where luminol can work even after rain.

Man, just not sure where you can find it…best bet is probably to call around in the morning if you plan on waiting until then?

Without it though, the rain will definitely be a problem and you'd have to resort to grid searching.

If he made it 300 yards, probably best to let him bed down, especially if you have him narrowed down to an area you believe he will.

thanks for the help. its going to a grid search . i have some nice hard edges and fire cuts to work with. im staying positive... i seen the hit and im surprised he went so far . hes a nice 8 point .
