The only nut dropping on my property is this 1 tree.. and it's dropping these..

Will deer eat them? What is it? My big red oaks have nothing under them..

Well that's a lie.. 1 has 2 fresh acorns under it.. looks like turkeys scratched it up a vbit underneath.. so maybe theyb are eating them as fast as they are falling?cdc8ff0f319f64e0031a3d9253f7a14d.jpgbfcd101c4c8dccb74e30bba2d2b37494.jpgaea7f48c4d909b75a7e7c0ae2165410f.jpg

Yes, and you're cheating on my nut quiz.   :whatever:

No more free answers until you turn in your quiz.

Do deer enjoy these?

No, they are one of the most acidic and least favorite of the acorns.  Which stinks because they are also the biggest.

If you are in an area with too many deer and little food the deer will hammer them.  By me the herd is well below the carrying capacity and there is an abundance of food.  Deer don't touch the chestnut oak acorns.
