Hold Over Birds!

My Springer pup was getting cabin fever, so I decided to take him out for a little work. I chose one of the WMA's where they leave the cover up instead of cutting it back every year. It didn't take long for him to get birdie, but I kept him on lead for  some obedience training. We heard two Roosters crowing to each other for a good fifteen minutes! Always good feeling to see that some of the birds survive.

There's a real nice Rooster in the road in front of my house. Car got him early this morning. I think Shore Wildlife did their last stocking for the year this week. They are right behind my house. I had holdovers running around here into the summer last year. The Fox don't get them all.
