Questions about Metal Roofing for "Shed"

So my Mom has an old horse barn, sloped square roof, it's about 12' X 12'.  The insurance company is insisting we repair the roof before they will renew home owners.  My sister thinks I should just buy the corrugated metal sheets and do it myself. 

Any cons to this approach? Anyone have any experience, tips or products to recommend?

It all depends on the roof  condition and your wallet, just had my house and 10x10 shed reshingled   THe house was tear  off no other damages 

Also if you plan to live there or sell
