Sudsy
Example, I'm about to roll some loads of .308 Win using IMR 3031. It calls for 40.2 gr of powder at the low end and a top load of 43.5 The loads listed are all for .308 diameter. My bullets, IMI swaged metal jacket BT 148 gr, are .309 diameter. How much less powder would you use when starting at the lower end of the load data and again at the high end ? Also, I'm only using the 3031 to get rid of three pounds I've had around (one unopened) before cracking my 8 lb keg of H4895 If anyone wants to trade for the 3031 I'm willing I just wanta play everyday despite small nagging injuries -- and go home to a woman who appreciates how full of crap I truly am. ~ Crash Davis Social Distancing since 1962
vdep217
Russian bullets usually have lesser tolerances could range from 308 to311 at .309 I would start at the minimum load and chrono if you can bushden

username
Can you run those bullets through a sizing die? I always use a sizing die on my reloads. I like CH4D dies. Also, I would use Varget or 4064 for the 308 Win. Edited March 27 by username
