Still looking for a bluetick

Still looking for 1 or 2 blueticks coonhounds, or possibly a treeing walker. If anybody has any leads, please let me know. I’m willing to drive in about an 6 hour radius from Sussex County

You have very good taste in dogs. We rescued our English/Redtick through Eleventh Hour Rescue. Unfortunately I don’t see any Blueticks currently available. Keep checking back because they are known for transporting up hounds. It’s my wife’s and I opinion that Coonhounds are the best kept secret and not too common for our area.

I used to hunt Walkers. You are much better off getting a started dog or even better yet- one that is fully broke. You get what you pay for. There are not many coon hunters left in New Jersey. There are a lot more coon hunters in western NY and Pa where there is a lot of corn. Also, the downside of coon hunting in NJ is the amount of traffic and busy roads.

25 years ago I would point you to my dad's friend that ran Black 'n Tan and Blueticks and turn you on to my deer spot of today loaded with racoons.  Those b@stards.
