Out of curiosity. Why'd you go with .223 and not the .243 or .22-250 that Cabelas is offering. I'm new to predator hunting so just seeing what others are using.

When I was looking at predator calibers, the recommendation was for .223 because I was considering keeping the pelts.  A higher caliber will work just as well, but there is a greater possibility it'll do a lot more damage to the pelts.  I'll see if I can find the thread on here about it.
