Winter Storm Watch in Effect for a long duration snow event over the weekend.

Rain will change to snow across the Adirondacks and Greens late Saturday evening, and across the higher summits of the Green Mountains this evening. Snowfall totals of 8-12 inches across the Northern Adirondacks can be expected with 4-6 across the Greens. The Monday morning commute will be impacted with snow covered roads
