Wet Weather and the Muzzleloader

Everything here is well and good but the reality is with a modern inline none of it is necessary.   I had my black diamond hunted rain snow sleet etc never covered never an issue.  Now I have a tc impact wich is break open and do nothing.  I will say I do keep gun in truck as much as possible to avoid drastic temp swings.

You even use a cork if you wanted to. But remember wet hands and primers don’t go together. That has happened to me.

209?  I've dropped shotgun shells in the bay pick them up load them and they go off

Do you think that there’s a little difference in a shot shell then a bare 209 primer

Well of course my point was I've had issues with no11 caps n moisture but never 209 .  Was just curious
