12 volt battery

Anyone ever try the 12 volt rechargeable lithium batteries for cell cams?

I think reveal has 12-volt lithium rechargeable batteries for their cameras. Some good reviews on here.Woods and water.

I have 8 reveals they have the small lithium rechargeable cartridges but never saw them offer a 12 volt. 
I’ve been getting good results with lead acid 12v batteries but was curious if anyone has tried the lithium 12 volts.

Was not sure if reveal was 12 volt

I think 12V lithiums work really well but they are much more expensive (3x+ cost).

I use Power-Sonic 12V 12Ah F2 SEALED LEAD ACID AGM DEEP-CYCLE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY

P.S.  Those 12V will last 12K-15K pics on bait with a Gen 1 Reveal sending Instant.  Lot of them might be raccoons, squirrels, birds, etc but hopefully you get a good buck cruise by at some point

That’s what I was looking to hear! 
Was curious if the lithiums might last 25k pics that’s all

They might, I have no experience with lithium 12Vs, but if that's needed, might be worth giving one a shot and see.  Really depends how long you want to go between swaps.  Keep in mind you'll want extra batteries to have charged and swap when you go to check cams, so that's more cost.

Yea I think having duplicate standard 12 volts for every cam is more than sufficient the more I think about it. I can have the duplicates always charged and ready

Do you put them in a box of some kind in the woods ?

Yes definitely need to waterproof it in a box.  I used ones from Herd360 but you can build them too.

You can but 12v 7ah batteries at Tractor supply for like $35 where they sell the gate openers. Just FYI if you need them.

The batteries matt posted are 12ah not 7ah.. and the 12ah are $28 each on Amazon. Just bought a few more

Yes, well aware of the difference in amp hour ratings.
