On a takedown recurve is the limb mounting on the riser standard through AMA? That is can I put the limbs from one manufacturer on the riser from another.

Usually not ,

most designs are independent to that maker

Basically only ILF limbs (international limb fitting) and ILF risers are interchangeable.  Some cheaper model recurves like a samick sage, galaxy ember, etc. will fit other cheap risers of different manufacturers that are outsourced and sold under different names.  Most any other riser/ limb connection is unique to the bowyer and bow model.
