First fawn of the year

If my math is correct that fawn was conceived 10/14-10/20. Give or take a day or two. Go back and check moon phases. Will probably happen this fall on the same moon phase.

I assumed deer was a few days old putting birth on 4/27 since pic was from 29th. And it may actually be a few days older. Mom usually hides them for a few days. That said 200 days from the 27th was 10/10.  That is definetly one of the first does of the year ready to breed.

Assuming most does get bread the first few weeks of November the bulk of the fawns show at the begging g of June

Oh its early. Assuming that fawn is a few days old being that it's up and about. With a 200 day gestation period that doe was bread the first week in october. I'd say that's early.

Not at all. Approximately 10 percent of does are actually bred in October.
