Fx are nice air guns have looked at the bullpup model many times. My go to airgun is a Daystate Air Ranger in .22 hard hitting and very accurate. If you become proficient 50 yards is not an issue on a ground hog. Pellt drop calculation is more critical than 22 long rifle but otherwise just as deadly. If you know your distance to the target and compensate they drop. More like archery hunting

For the History buffs, This Rifle was what Lewis & Clark had with them on their journey west. without it they may not have been successful. It is a Girandoni and used compressed air.  It was capable of Killing from Deer to Buffalo. many say the Winchester won the west.                                 If you never saw the documentary The Lewis & Clark Expedition West. you have to.
