Pequest trout hatchery

I was planning on taking my two boys to the Pequest trout hatchery open house this weekend but now that it’s canceled the boys still want to go.  Is it still worth the 30 minute ride to walk around and look? I’ve never been there before so I don’t know if there is actually anything for them to see.  With a half of foot of snow on the ground and two young boys with cabin fever my choices are running out! Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I painted that place when it was first built.  I don't know what they will have open without it being an open house, but you should be able to get into the main lodge and see some breeders at the entrance, maybe be able to look out over the outside runways.

Thats why I never tell my boys anything until we are there. Then they dont get let down when something happens. I also was planning on going but they dont know that.
